Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity focuses on providing high-quality support in a specialized retail HIV/AIDS pharmacy setting. The role involves handling low volume prescription processing with an emphasis on precise data entry and accurate filling and dispensing of medications. This position operates on a full-time schedule with a Monday through Thursday shift from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Process prescriptions accurately in a low-volume environment
• Enter prescription and patient data into pharmacy systems
• Fill and dispense medications with attention to detail and patient safety
• Maintain strong communication lines with patients and healthcare providers
• Deliver exceptional patient care and support, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Demonstrate reliability by being punctual and consistent in attendance
• Uphold a positive and proactive attitude in all interactions

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current Pharmacy Technician license valid in Nevada
• Experience working in HIV/AIDS dispensing preferred; candidates will be asked about their familiarity with this specialty
• Proficiency with QS1 pharmacy software strongly preferred
• Exceptional communication skills with both patients and healthcare providers
• Commitment to high standards of patient care and professionalism
