Automotive Lube Technician

Grease Monkey® Lube TechnicianGrease Monkey® currently operates more than 300 centers internationally with operations in Mexico, China, Colombia and Saudi Arabia. Grease Monkey® is the nation's largest independent franchisor of automotive oil change centers.Position OverviewDuring the full service oil change, the lube technician is responsible for servicing and inspecting the vehicle quickly, safely, and accurately. The lube technician will add oil, inspect fluids and filters, install plugs and oil filter, and make sure there are no leaks after installation.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork safely, wear safety gear, keep work area clean and organized.Perform additional services, such as fuel filters, transmissions and differentials, when applicableAssist with performing pressure and leak checkPerform visual inspection of belts, hoses, and other hood compartment components, document unusual conditions.Assist with final safety and quality checkOther Duties and ResponsibilitiesEvery crew member is responsible for general center maintenance and cleaning duties such as mopping, washing center windows, lawn mowing, clearing litter, snow and ice from the site, and cleaning restrooms.
