Adams Broadwell Joseph & Cardozo is accepting applications for associate attorneys with 3-5 years of experience and with 6-10 years of experience practicing land use and environmental law in California. The ideal candidate will have: Substantive experience practicing land use, planning and zoning, and environmental law in California. Demonstrated strategic thinking, including in designing and implementing advocacy that consistently obtains high-quality results. Demonstrated interest in sustainable development which minimizes public health and environmental harm while maximizing community benefits. Excellent legal research, analytic and writing skills. Outstanding and persuasive written or oral communication skills. Demonstrated initiative and leadership skills. Ability and willingness to travel, as needed, to represent clients at public hearings. Ability to work effectively with technical experts, including with respect to new technologies and emerging climate and health threats. Ability to work collegially and collaboratively and contribute to a diverse, equitable and inclusive work culture. California Bar membership. The anticipated base salary range for an associate attorney with 3-5 years of experience is $130,000 to $155,000 and with 6-10 years of experience is $155,000 to $190,000, plus annual performance-based bonuses.
