Registered Nurse - General OR

This is a 13-week contract position.

3x12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. On-call duty may be required, with 5-8 calls per month, including weekends. Holiday call may also be required.

The Registered Nurse in the General OR is responsible for scrubbing and circulating general operating room cases. The candidate will work with various specialties, including Plastics, Colorectal, Urology, MIS, Panc/Bili, and Surgical Oncology.

Responsibilities:

• Scrub and circulate general OR cases effectively.
• Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure efficient operations.
• Administer blood products and monitor patients during surgical procedures.
• Respond to codes and manage patient care during surgery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a surgical setting.
• Proficient in scrubbing and circulating a variety of surgical cases.
• Must hold an active South Carolina or multi-state RN license.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required (must be AHA certified).
• Radiation badge required (provided by the agency).
