Partnership Activation Coordinator | Full-Time | Denver Tech Center / OVG NY Corporate

Position Summary The Partnership Activation Coordinator role will work out of the New York or Denver office on partnership activation initiatives for OVG, the sponsorship and marketing arm of Oak View Group. Suitable professionals are commercially aggressive, with a track record in the sponsorship space of delivering and executing high-value deals that incorporate creative activation strategies. Key responsibilities are: contributing to all aspects of implementation, activation, reporting and delivery of assigned partnership accounts; assisting in the day-to-day execution of partnership elements; and maintaining a deep understanding of each partner's marketing goals and business objectives. This role pays an hourly rate of $26.00-$30.00. Responsibilities Deliver effective and measurable sponsorship platforms for sponsors by managing expectations, communicating timelines, and ensuring contractual asset fulfillment. Use a variety of methods and resources to creatively engage and enhance partner relationships, using industry knowledge and brand awareness to overcome challenges, create business opportunities, and exceed company objectives. Participate in the planning and execution of sponsors’ contractual elements, including traditional media assets, in-market promotions, in-arena activation, hospitality, experiential, and community programs. Work with the director to develop a plan per sponsor to demonstrate ROI and ROO of marketing partnership initiatives and oversee development of mid-year and year-end partnership recaps and case studies. Manage internal and external partner expectations on processes, timelines, approvals, and deadlines. Regularly prepare research/market awareness reports to keep up-to-date with current partner news, industry trends, and research activation concepts for partners as needed. Maintain accurate reporting processes, procedures, and partner database management. Provide a high-level weekly report indicating the status of all current partner and department administrative action items. Work closely with internal departments such as legal, finance, and others on partner needs. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Marketing or Sports Management). 1-2+ years of professional sponsorship experience in a high-performance sponsorship environment, executing multiple deals across multiple properties (likely agency or alternative sports entity/rights holder). Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with corporate clients and co-workers. Creative problem solver who quickly understands brands/partners’ business models and how to grow their business. Highly driven self-starter, able to work independently without supervision. Excellent communicator. Excellent budgeting, forecasting, and reporting skills (highly numerate). Entrepreneurial mentality, willing to roll up sleeves and get things done. Focused, diligent, and hard-working; ambitious. Strong interpersonal skills, trustworthy, loyal, and ethical. Willingness to work the hours required to fulfill commitments. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Adobe Photoshop is a plus. Excellent written and verbal skills. Proven ability to correctly use punctuation and grammar.
