Contract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Days | 3x12 Shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide optimal patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for pediatric and PICU patient populations
• Deliver comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including their families and caregivers, with attention to age-specific cognitive and psychosocial needs
• Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems while exercising sound clinical judgment and decision-making in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Coordinate care across interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with internal and external contacts
• Float to other departments as needed, up to individual competency level, to support organizational needs
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during a scheduled period; schedule may include weekends and some call shifts

Required Qualifications

• Active Nevada RN license required prior to start
• AHA BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of PEDS/PICU experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or similarly high-acuity environment
• Familiarity with high-volume, fast-paced inpatient settings serving diverse and complex patient populations
• Strong critical thinking and independent clinical decision-making skills in intensive care settings
