Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Randallstown, MD

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every other weekend and every other holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting with patient ratios of 1:4–6
• Deliver care within a Primary Stroke Center (Gold Plus AHA-designated) and support STEMI patient management protocols
• Provide nursing care in dedicated behavioral health locked units within the ED, maintaining a 1:6 ratio with support from ED staff and security teams
• Assist in rapid evaluation units serving both urgent care and critical care needs, including rapid medical screenings
• Float within the hospital within scope of practice as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license – valid Maryland or Compact license required at time of submission
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to float within the hospital within scope of practice
• References required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in stroke care or STEMI patient management
• Background in behavioral health emergency care
