About the Organization Wheeler Mission Ministries (WMM) is a privately funded 501(c)(3) non‑profit, evangelical Christian ministry dedicated to sharing the Gospel and helping those experiencing homelessness and others in need. Job Title Program Assistant – Restored Creations Employment Information Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non‑Exempt Reports to: Program Manager Full or Part-time: Part‑time Team: Restored Creations Position Summary The Program Assistant works with the guests of Wheeler Mission programs alongside our Case Managers to ensure all elements of programs are completed. This position collaborates with Restored Creations, our candle‑making social enterprise run by long‑term program participants, to assist with various tasks and activities that promote the success of our guests. This position will work 20‑24 hours with Restored Creations and collaborates across teams. Key Duties and Responsibilities Daily Resident Support: Provide training in all aspects of production of Restored Creations products Answer questions and assist with routine problem‑solving Listen to guests and assist as appropriate or escalating concerns to the program manager or other managers Resolve conflicts and serve as a calming influence using a biblical model and de‑escalation techniques Assist the Program Manager with evening and weekend activities, including transportation of guests to events and activities using a Wheeler vehicle Assist with special events and other program duties as assigned Group Facilitation: Lead devotions and prayer Help with skill development Model the skills we are teaching our guests Administrative Responsibilities: Conduct pre‑ and post‑assessment for every guest as they enter/graduate the program Track guest training hours and accurately document/report hours Participate in daily, weekly, and other regular program meetings Complete paperwork, incident reports, answer email, and keep on top of required reporting Maintain product and supplies inventory, ensuring managers know when supplies need to be ordered and ensuring no item is out of stock Oversee fulfillment of online and retail orders Make deliveries to retailers and online orders to the post office/UPS Oversee production and quality control to ensure Restored Creations products are made with high integrity and quality Communicate in a timely manner with supervisors; skilled in written and verbal communication Other: This position will often require flexibility. The Program Assistant may be required to serve in other areas of the ministry when needs arise. Reporting Relationships Program Manager for Restored Creations. This position has no direct reports but assists others in the program with guest supervision.
