Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in provision and management of care to patients. The average patient load is 4-6 patients per day. Most patients require short-term therapy after hospitalization or nursing home stays for various reasons. The coverage area will require travel within a specified distance. Weekly team meetings occur virtually, with monthly in-person meetings. The orientation schedule includes a general organization orientation and required online courses. Training on the electronic medical record system will be provided. There will be support from a therapy manager who will assist with documentation and questions in the first few weeks. Travelers should expect to be fully productive by the third week of the assignment. First-time travelers are accepted; experience with electronic medical record systems is preferred. A taxable address outside of the specified distance from the facility is required.
