Position: Security Officer Lobby Desk (Part-Time) Location: Jamestown, NY. Pay Rate $23.00 / Hour Job Schedule Thur 08:30 AM - 04:30 PM, Fri 08:30 AM - 04:30 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Monitor visitor access, check identification and/or credentials, and help to document arrivals, departures, and front desk activity in accordance with site guidelines. Answer questions, provide directions, and support staff, patients, members, and visitors with a calm, professional presence in a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and help to communicate with site contacts and emergency personnel when needed. Monitor entrances, lobby areas, and other assigned front desk spaces for security-related concerns, and report suspicious, disruptive, and/or unauthorized activity. Minimum Requirements Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
