Position : Material Handler Shift : 1st Shift – 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday‑Friday Pay Rate : $16.94 per hour Duties and Responsibilities Execute foundational tasks in the warehouse including packaging, unpackaging, put‑away, sorting, staging, picking, shipping, and preparing units for production. Cut open boxed inventory in the storage area or on the rack. Place open boxes on the appropriate shelf of the flow rack. Walk the length of the flow rack. Wrap cords neatly and securely, ensuring they are tangle‑free. Assist with labeling, tagging, or color‑coding wrapped cords as needed for easy identification. Consistently meet or surpass daily production and quality goals. Complete required paperwork, forms, or digital records accurately and promptly for documentation purposes. Maintain a clean, organized workstation. Follow warehouse safety regulations. Perform other duties assigned based on the business the warehouse supports. Required Skills and Experience Reliability, adaptability, and dependability. Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Basic computer proficiency. Ability to understand and follow directions. Preferred Skills and Experience Previous experience in a high‑volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (e.g., testing and repair), or forward logistics operation. Capability to handle basic issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher‑level staff. Clerical skills. Written and verbal communication skills. Educational Requirements High school diploma or equivalent work experience. Physical Demands and Working Conditions Warehouse environment. Stand dynamically for long periods. Use hands and fingers to handle, feel, type, pick, pinch, seize, hold, grasp or turn objects. Lift up to 50 pounds. Push and/or pull up to 50 pounds. Reach up and out with hands and arms.
