Lead a high-performing Emergency & Critical Care team at SAGE San Francisco, one of Northern California's premier specialty and emergency veterinary hospitals. As the ER Clinical Lead, you'll combine advanced clinical expertise with leadership, mentoring a team of Registered Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants while helping deliver exceptional patient care in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

In Your Day-to-Day, You Will

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of Registered Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants.

• Oversee daily operations of the Emergency & Critical Care department, ensuring efficient patient flow and exceptional patient care.

• Partner with department leaders to optimize workflows, client satisfaction, and patient outcomes.

• Implement and maintain clinical protocols, best practices, and regulatory compliance.

• Provide coaching, performance feedback, and ongoing staff development.

• Assess technical competencies and facilitate department training.

• Create monthly schedules and ensure appropriate staffing coverage.

• Manage payroll, staffing costs, and timecard approvals.

• Promote a culture focused on teamwork, safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What You Bring

• Minimum of three years of Emergency or Critical Care veterinary experience.

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

• Current California Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license preferred.

• Strong organizational, coaching, and communication skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced emergency environment.

• A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
