Processing Technician
HiFyve is hiring a Processing Technician in the manufacturing industry!
Salary: $25 $27/hour
Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & every other Wednesday
Location: Lee's Summit, Missouri
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and start injection molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment.
- Develop, adjust, and optimize molding process parameters to achieve part quality and production efficiency.
- Troubleshoot molding defects and make necessary process corrections.
- Perform and assist with mold changes and machine setups.
- Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to identify and resolve equipment and process issues.
- Monitor machine performance and document adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 2+ years of plastic injection molding processing experience required (Husky equipment experience a plus).
- Strong understanding of plastic material behavior and molding principles.
- Ability to adjust hydraulic, pneumatic, and processing controls.
- Familiarity with scientific molding is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work scheduled shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends.
- Positive safety mindset and ability to work well within a team.
