Position Overview The Pastry Cook is responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality bread and dessert items in a timely manner to ensure excellent guest satisfaction. Essential Functions Prepare and execute pastries following recipes, proper portioning, techniques, and standards to meet guest orders. Coordinate with the Chef/Manager on duty. Maintain a clean and organized workstation while preparing desserts. Perform physical activities such as walking, kneeling, bending, and reaching regularly. Lift items up to 50 lbs at waist level and carry up to 80 pounds frequently. Remain standing and active for a 6-8 hour shift. Use cleaning agents safely and effectively. Qualifications At least two years of baking/pastry experience with a passion for culinary arts. Willingness to learn and dedication to food, technique, and hospitality, inspired by fine dining standards.
