As a Cardiovascular Scheduler, you will:
• Monitor in-bound fax and email traffic following through with scheduling tasks such as booking various department as needed
• Retrieve Voicemails from Live Vox three times a day
• Function as a Scheduler during lunches and staffing shortages
• Assist Benefits Specialist with insurance verification and obtaining pre-authorizations as needed for cases booked greater than 48hrs. prior to appointment date and time.
• Assist Schedulers with insurance verification and obtaining pre-authorizations for cases booked less than 48hrs. prior to the appointment date and time.
• Other duties as assigned




Qualifications include:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Two years of Medical Scheduling, Insurance Coverage and Benefits or Patient Access experience.
• Strong customer service skills, critical thinking and analytical skills, proven ability to communicate with others in a positive manner with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bi-lingual a plus

Work Schedule:

• Employment Type: Full-time

• Hours per Week: 40 hours per week (4x10hr shifts)

• Typical Daily Schedule: between the hours of 7:00 AM–7:00 PM

• Shift Type: Day

• Holiday Requirements: follow company holiday calendar

• Shift Differential Eligible: Yes

Pay Range:

$20.07 - $26.42

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
