Sonographer - Day Shift

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a day shift schedule, specifically from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Job Description

The Sonographer plays a critical role in providing high-quality ultrasound imaging services. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary experience and qualifications to deliver exceptional patient care and accurate diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, pelvic, and vascular imaging.
• Utilize the Epic charting system for documentation and patient records.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures.
• Assist in the diagnosis by providing accurate imaging results to physicians.
• Contribute to departmental goals and quality assurance initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of previous ultrasound experience.
• Current ARDMS certification is required.
• California state license must be valid and in hand.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Preferred experience in community hospitals or LTAC settings.
