JOB DESCRIPTION

Atlantic Health is seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Oncology team. The RN will work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the multidisciplinary care team to provide high-quality, patient-centered oncology care in the ambulatory setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions. Educate patients and families regarding treatments, medications, and symptom management. Monitor, document, and report changes in patient condition. Maintain accurate and complete patient records. Coordinate care with health‑care providers and support services. Record patient vital signs and medical information. Support a compassionate and safe patient experience. Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. Current New Jersey Registered Nurse license. BLS certification. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). ASN candidates must complete BSN within five years of hire date. One (1) or more years of nursing experience in Oncology, Infusion, Ambulatory, or related specialty area. ONS Certification preferred.
