Make a difference every day.As a Back Office Clinic Assistant at PPCW, you'll work directly with patients and clinicians to help provide high-quality, compassionate sexual and reproductive health care. This is a hands-on role where you'll build clinical skills, support patient flow, and help create a welcoming and affirming experience for every patient.What You'll DoAs a Back Office Clinic Assistant, you'll support patients before, during, and after their visits while working closely with clinicians and the rest of the health center team.On a typical day, you might:Welcome patients and prepare them for their visitTake patient histories, vital signs, and other clinical informationPerform blood draws, injections, and laboratory testing within your training and scopeAssist clinicians with procedures and patient careProvide patient education and instructionsPrepare exam rooms, instruments, and suppliesDocument accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)Help maintain efficient patient flow throughout the health centerFollow infection prevention, safety, and confidentiality standardsProvide compassionate, inclusive, and trauma-informed care to patients from a wide range of backgroundsSchedule & LocationThis is a part-time position (30 hours/week) at our Beaverton Health Center in Beaverton, Oregon.Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday - Saturday11:30am–7:30pm - 8:00am–4:00pm - 10:30am–6:30pm - 7:30am–3:30pmCandidates must be able to reliably work this schedule. Pay is based on experience and internal equity.
