Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette (PPCW) is hiring a Back Office Clinic Assistant to join our Northeast Health Center – Family Planning team. What You'll Do

In this role, you'll be part of the clinical team supporting patients through their visit and helping create a safe, respectful, and efficient experience.

On a typical day, you might:

• Room patients, take vital signs, and prepare them for their visit
• Support providers during exams and procedures
• Assist with lab work, including specimen collection and processing
• Clean, stock, and prepare exam rooms and instruments
• Answer patient questions and help them feel informed and at ease
• Work closely with your team to keep the clinic running smoothly

You'll play an essential role in delivering high-quality sexual and reproductive health care while helping ensure every patient is treated with dignity and respect.

Schedule & Location

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) at our Northeast Health Center – Family Planning.

Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday - Friday

11:00am–7:00pm - 9:30am–5:30pm - 11:30am–7:30pm - 9:30am–5:30pm - 9:30am–5:30pm

Bilingual Spanish preferred

Candidates must be able to reliably work this schedule. Occasional work at other times, days, or PPCW locations may be required to support operational needs.

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a customer service or high-volume environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patients and coworkers
• Comfort working independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment

Nice to Have

• Experience in a medical setting or working directly with patients
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR)
• Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, EMT, or CNA certification
• Spanish language skills

Pay & Growth

$20.37 – $29.68/hour

Pay is based on experience and internal equity, with opportunities to grow over time.

Additional Pay Opportunities

• Bilingual premium: +$1.72/hour
• Interpreter-level premium: +$3.44/hour
• After 6 months, you may be eligible for additional clinic responsibilities that include extra hourly pay
