Jewelry Design & Product Development Coordinator We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and highly collaborative Jewelry Design & Product Development Coordinator to join our growing jewelry consulting group. This is an in-house, hands-on role supporting our internal team as well as the brands and clients we work with. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for jewelry design and can translate ideas, inspiration, trends, and client direction into clear, compelling visual concepts. You will work closely with managers, clients, and our CAD department to develop jewelry from initial concept through product development. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the creative side of design and the fast-paced, hands-on nature of product development. Because we work with a variety of clients, strong communication, organization, adaptability, and a willingness to jump in where needed are essential. Key Responsibilities Design & Product Development Create original jewelry concepts and digital sketches using an iPad and design tools. Translate client direction, inspiration, references, and trends into clear, compelling designs. Develop visual presentations and sketches that effectively communicate proportions, details, and overall aesthetic. Collaborate with CAD designers to refine concepts and address design and technical considerations. Revise designs based on internal and client feedback and develop multiple directions when needed. Support the development process from initial concept through CAD, samples, and final product. Review samples and prototypes, communicate feedback, and help coordinate revisions. Sourcing & Business Support Assist with sourcing materials, components, samples, and other product needs. Visit vendors, suppliers, manufacturers, and other industry partners as needed. Support managers with project coordination, client presentations, follow-up, and sample logistics. Maintain organized design files, references, samples, and project materials. Assist with general operational and administrative needs to keep projects moving efficiently. Qualifications Experience in jewelry design, fashion accessories, product design, or a related creative field. Strong jewelry design sensibility, with an understanding of proportion, construction, and detail. Excellent sketching and visual communication skills; comfortable designing on an iPad. Ability to create clear sketches and concepts that can be effectively translated into CAD and physical product. Familiarity with CAD and jewelry production processes strongly preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to understand how designs translate into finished products. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with both clients and internal teams. Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Adaptable, proactive, resourceful, and comfortable receiving feedback and making revisions.
