About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Baltimore, Maryland, 21201!

Shift

• Day Shift: 3×12 hours
• Time: 07:00–19:30
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required to HICU , BHU , and Burk 2 Vent Unit

Responsibilities

• Provide care in ICU step‑down , neuro/medical , and long‑term ventilator units
• Manage vents, trachs, chest tubes, PICC/central lines , and tube feedings
• Monitor and respond to rapid patient condition changes
• Perform cardiac monitoring , interpret dysrhythmias, and give emergency medications
• Handle complex wound care , infection prevention, and patient assessments
• Support patients with respiratory, cardiac, renal, GI/GU, and neuro conditions
• Collaborate with PT, RT, pharmacy, social services, radiology , and other teams

Requirements

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Experience

• 2 years of RN experience required
• Charge experience: Preferred
• LTAC experience: Preferred
• Trauma Level I experience: Preferred
• Travel experience: Not required
• Teaching hospital experience: Preferred

Licensing

• Valid Maryland or Compact RN license required at time of submission

Certifications

• Required:
  • BLS
  • ACLS

Charting System

• Cerner (Required)

Floating

• Required to float to:
  • HICU (ICU step-down)
  • BHU (Brain Health Unit)
  • Burk 2 (LTC Vent Unit)

Scheduling

• Every other weekend required
• No RTO accepted after auto-offer
• Must work every other holiday (major holidays listed)
• Zero tolerance for tardiness/unexcused absences
