Registered Nurse - Operating Room

$2720.00/week - Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide pre-op, PACU, and circulating scrub support for a busy surgical unit. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, with a strong background in orthopedic, general surgery, and C-section procedures, and will support a flexible schedule including call and weekend shifts. Responsibilities: Coordinate and prepare patients for surgery, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Circulate during surgeries, managing instruments and assisting the surgical team as needed. Scrub in for procedures when required, demonstrating proficiency with sterile techniques. Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes during perioperative care. Document all clinical activities accurately in the EMR system. Support pre-op and post-anesthesia care activities, maintaining continuity of patient care. Qualifications: Hold an active RN license with at least 1 year of OR experience. Demonstrate proficiency in orthopedic, general, and C-section procedures. Possess current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Exhibit flexibility with scheduling, including call, weekends, and holidays. Experience with EMR systems, specifically Epic, is preferred.
