Product Manager, Study Lifecycle

Benchling seeks a Product Manager for its Study Lifecycle team to lead products that help scientists organize and execute experiments across drug development phases. The role involves working at the intersection of experimental planning, execution data, and analysis, managing roadmap decisions and outcomes for both direct users and API integrators.

Responsibilities

• Own roadmap strategy and execution for Studies, Sample Testing, and Process Development products
• Conduct customer research and work with GTM teams to understand scientist workflows
• Translate customer feedback and scientific needs into prioritized product direction and requirements
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and customers to ship product improvements
• Define and track outcomes for both end users and API-integrating customers

Requirements

• Systems thinking and product intuition with ability to learn unfamiliar domains quickly
• Experience building products across different problem spaces or industries
• Customer research and discovery skills to translate scientist needs into product direction
• Cross-functional collaboration with design, engineering, and go-to-market teams
• Understanding of how software integrates with scientific workflows and APIs
• AI fluency and capability to leverage AI tools in product work
