Human Resources Generalist
$27 - $29 per hourLHH
Work Type: Full time, onsite, temp to hire Schedule: either 6a-3p or 9a-6p Compensation: $27-29/hr Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried roles, including workforce planning with hiring managers Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and training compliance for new hires Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, turnover, and pipeline activity; support retention initiatives Serve as primary HR contact for employee relations matters across all shifts Conduct investigations (attendance, policy violations, safety, behavioral issues) and support corrective actions Coach supervisors on performance management, conflict resolution, and communication Maintain strong presence on the production floor and support multi-shift operations as needed Coordinate and support employee training and development programs, including leadership training initiatives Partner with leadership to identify development needs and build internal promotion pathways Support employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and survey action planning Maintain HRIS data accuracy (Paycom) and track/report HR metrics (turnover, attendance, staffing levels) Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.) Assist with audits, documentation, workers’ compensation, and return-to-work processes Communicate workforce updates, staffing concerns, and HR trends to leadership; support cross-functional coordination Qualifications 2–4+ years of HR experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution environments Strong experience in recruiting, employee relations, and employee development Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices Experience supporting multi-shift or 24/7 operations with flexible scheduling availability Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information Experience with HRIS systems (Paycom preferred) Experience in high-volume hourly workforce environments (preferred) Ability to work in a manufacturing/warehouse environment, including walking the production floor and light lifting #J-18808-Ljbffr
