Panacea Eye Center is an upscale, fast-growing ophthalmology practice in Vero Beach seeking a
full-time Medical Receptionist/Scheduler to join our team. If you are professional, confident,
detail-oriented, and enjoy working with patients in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you

We are looking for someone who wants a long-term position and takes pride in delivering an
exceptional patient experience from the first point of contact.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
• Manage scheduling for office visits and procedures
• Coordinate incoming calls and front desk communication
• Verify insurance and assist with billing questions
• Collect copays and balances accurately
• Prepare and maintain patient charts and records
• Assist with consents and patient communication
• Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times
• Support office flow and assist team members as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years medical office experience preferred
• Ophthalmology experience is a plus (will train the right candidate)
• Strong computer skills (AdvancedMD, Nextech, Gmail preferred)
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting
• Professional, positive, and patient-focused attitude
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented

Work Environment

• Fast-paced, team-driven medical office
• Significant computer and phone use throughout the day
• Interaction with patients, staff, and insurance providers
• Must be comfortable handling sensitive medical information

Schedule

• Monday–Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Some flexibility based on office needs
