Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday (Overtime as Needed)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our rebar manufacturing team. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment used in the fabrication and processing of reinforcing steel (rebar). The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, steel, or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on rebar fabrication equipment, conveyors, motors, pumps, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment to minimize downtime.

• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and identify root causes of failures.

• Inspect machinery and perform routine maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

• Repair and replace bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, motors, belts, and other machinery components.

• Assist with installation, startup, and modification of production equipment.

• Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication work as needed.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.

• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO) requirements, and company policies.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and production efficiency.

• Collaborate with production personnel to resolve equipment issues quickly and effectively.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.

• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing, steel, production, or heavy industrial environment.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

• Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment and diagnose equipment failures.

• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.

• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milton, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
