Registered Nurse (RN)Status: Non-Exempt Department: Clinical Support Staff Schedule: Day shift + rotating on-call Location: Unalaska, AK (Relocation Required)Role SummaryProvide professional nursing care to patients of all ages, including after-hours urgent and emergent needs. Work independently, think critically, and deliver excellent customer service in a rural medical setting.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess, triage, and care for patients across the lifespanDevelop and implement patient care plansAdminister medications & therapeutic measuresAssist with emergency/urgent care proceduresMaintain aseptic technique and safe environmentsPerform dispensary dutiesDocument all nursing interventions accuratelyParticipate in trainings, meetings & community eventsSupport clinic operations (cleaning, stocking, equipment care)Required Skills & KnowledgeStrong clinical assessment & triage skillsAbility to respond to urgent and after-hours callsKnowledge of medications, medical equipment & care proceduresExcellent communication & teamwork abilitiesAbility to obtain IV/IO accessLicenses & CertificationsAlaska RN License (or ability to obtain within 90 days)BLS – RequiredACLS, PALS & TNCC – Required within 6 months of hireEducation & ExperienceAccredited Nursing Program (BSN, Diploma, or ADN)2 Year nursing experience – RequiredER/Critical Care – PreferredBenefitsHiring bonusHealth, dental, vision & life insuranceHRA & no co-pay for in-house carePaid time offGym/Pool membershipTuition reimbursement eligible site through HRSAStart a meaningful career in rural healthcare.
