Project Coordinator

Trident Consulting is seeking a Project Coordinator for one of our clients in Pomona, CA (Hybrid-2 days onsite). A global leader in business and technology services. Please find additional details about the role below:

Title: Project Coordinator

Location: Pomona, CA (Hybrid-2 days onsite)

Type: Contract

Duration: 18+ Months (Potentially Extended)

Pay rate: $35/hr on W2 (All inclusive)

Position Overview

The Project Coordinator will support project management staff with day-to-day coordination, data entry, documentation, stakeholder communication, status tracking, and reporting to help ensure projects are completed successfully and on schedule.

Education Requirement

High School Diploma or equivalent

Key Responsibilities

• Support project management staff with project tasks, deliverables, and coordination activities.
• Enter and maintain accurate project data and records in tracking systems, project management tools, and client systems of record.
• Monitor project status, dependencies, and required actions.
• Communicate project updates and status with internal and external stakeholders.
• Send easement requests, contracts, invoices, and other required project documentation.
• Confirm receipt of payments and executed contracts.
• Release meters to client operations personnel as required.
• Process initial customer submittals and route them to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Send and receive project documents, designs, and other required materials.
• Attend stakeholder status update calls and present current project status.
• Generate project status/health reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform ad-hoc data reviews and prepare reports as requested by leadership.
• Support project completion and corporate goals/initiatives through timely and accurate coordination.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of analytical experience reviewing and interpreting data sets.
• Minimum 2 years of project coordination or project management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Experience with database software such as Microsoft Access, SAP, or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Utility industry experience.
