North Las Vegas, NVHours of Operation:40 hours a week from Monday - Saturday, 7:30 am - 7:00pm (pharmacy schedule). This position includes benefits.Primary Responsibilities:Interpret physicians' prescriptions, create order, access/inputs/retrieve prescription information and verify reimbursement eligibilitySupport solid focus on providing a superior level of customer serviceSupport the maintenance of consistent inventory levels reflective of plan approved formularyMaintain prescriptions in a manner that complies with all legal requirements, including OBRA'90Provide accurate and consistent service levels, focusing on timely and accurate medication distributionCoordinate with other departments and team members within Optum to provide maximum level of serviceEnsure adherence and compliance with all state and federal regulations pertaining to the PharmacyExhibit compliant and ethical behavior in the performance of job responsibilities, including complying with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, Optum Code of Conduct, Business Ethics Policies and Procedures and other policies and procedures applicable to the positionYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Nevada3+ years of pharmacy related experience (including retail pharmacy)Intermediate level of proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applicationsFlexibility to support other sites within the Las Vegas area as neededAbility to wear a mask during working hours if needed18 years of age or olderPreferred Qualification:Fluent in English and SpanishNational Technician CertificationPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
