PRN Pharmacy Technician

PRN Pharmacy TechnicianCardinal Health manages the pharmacy at PAM Specialty Hospital of Las Vegas and we are currently recruiting for a PRN Pharmacy Technician to work on an as-needed basis during facility hours. The facility is open Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 6:00PM and Saturday - Sunday, 8:00AM - 4:00PM. A clinical background with hospital and IV compounding experience is highly preferred.ResponsibilitiesAssists the Pharmacist as needed, permitted by State Boards of Pharmacy.Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Inputs patient data and prescription information into the pharmacy information management system.Takes inventory, places orders, checks in drugs and supplies, stocks shelves and removes out-of-date items from the inventory.Communicates with all customers in a pleasant and professional manner.Maintains knowledge of and abides by all applicable pharmacy laws and regulations.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school degree or equivalent preferred.Nevada state pharmacy technician certification required.National pharmacy technician certification (PTCB) or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire required.IV compounding experience preferred.In-patient/hospital pharmacy technician experience highly preferred.Pyxis or Omnicell experience preferred.Flexibility in working schedule.Ability to work in a group.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong customer service skills.Comfortable performing repetitive motions/tasks.Ability to manage several tasks at the same time; Ability to focus on tasks; Ability to evaluate operating conditions; Ability to exercise sound judgment.Demonstrated ability to use technology such as computers, smart phones and tablets.May require additional vendor credentialing.Anticipated hourly range: $18.90 per hour - $24.30 per hour.Bonus eligible: NoBenefits: Paid time off in compliance with applicable laws.Application window anticipated to close: 07/26/2026 *if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible.The hourly range listed is an estimate.
