The role
You will be the lead superintendent on your project, responsible for the full build from site work through turnover. You will direct all trades, own the schedule, and manage the team on site. Refrigeration is a significant scope component on these projects and requires someone who has worked through it before.
100% travel within Texas. An established commercial general contractor with a Dallas-area office is hiring a Superintendent to lead ground-up grocery store construction across Texas. A national grocery retailer anchors their backlog, which means a continuous project pipeline in DFW, Austin, San Antonio, and Corpus Christi.
What the client requires
- Five or more years as a superintendent on ground-up commercial construction
- Direct grocery store construction experience (Kroger, H-E-B, Walmart, or comparable), ground-up rather than remodel-only
- Refrigeration installation or remodel experience
- Ability to run the project independently and lead the trades under you
- Willingness to travel full-time within Texas
