What You'll Do

As a Nurse Practitioner with TK Health Clinics, you'll provide primary and episodic medical care to an adult patient population within the Cass County Jail.

Responsibilities include:

• Assessing, diagnosing, and treating acute and chronic medical conditions
• Conducting patient evaluations and follow-up visits
• Ordering and reviewing appropriate diagnostic testing
• Prescribing medications and developing treatment plans within scope of practice
• Managing common chronic conditions
• Responding to clinical concerns identified by the nursing team
• Maintaining accurate and timely medical documentation
• Collaborating with nursing staff and TK Health medical leadership
• Following established clinical protocols and correctional healthcare standards

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license
• Appropriate authorization to practice in Missouri
• Strong assessment, clinical decision-making, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently within established clinical protocols
• Ability to successfully complete a thorough background investigation

Correctional healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
