Production Clerk

Production Clerk Shift: 1st Shift 6:30am-3:30pm Starting Pay: $20 As a Production Clerk at PPG, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need it. Your work will directly affect people’s lives! Primary Responsibilities Maintains production data for Converting Site Manager. Maintains inventory accuracy within the SAP system through checking operator confirmations within SAP and/or completing transactions. Maintains inventory spreadsheet. Responsible for yearly inventory adjustments and for inventory adjustments throughout the year from the Inventory steering committee and completes annual physical inventory. Reviews inventory reports to identify and fix issues. Responsible for ensuring month end is closed for the facility. SAP Duties – Examples (but not limited to) Adjusts inventory locations and lot numbers when necessary. Material Confirmations Troubleshoot issues such as picking, scanning, pack units, etc. Completes all necessary shipping paperwork, including BOL, pack lists, export papers, SOLAS/VGM, Canada customs papers, etc. Schedules shipments as needed. Communicates with customer service and the logistics team as needed. Maintain and file all paperwork after order has shipped. Maintain the inventory of all packaging materials, pallets, supplies, and other miscellaneous items. Complete same day shipment work orders. Produce printed copies of SAP order documents and prepares work orders. Assist with the confirmation and location of inventory to be used for work orders. Monitor receipts of inbound goods (receive in SAP, print special labels; print new labels for inbound if necessary). Responsible for setting up nonstandard sample requests. Other Clerical Work Front Desk Responsibilities – answer and direct phone calls, visitor access. Pay bills such as electric, water, waste, phone, etc. Handle incoming mail. Any other duties assigned.
