Analyzes and interprets collected procedural data, provides effective patient care at all acuity levels. Assists in precepting new employees and students to department's organization and function. Maintains inventory and charges appropriately for procedures, performs all procedures per protocol, participates in quality assurance and performance improvement programs as requested. Equitable participation in call coverage required if applicable to site.Essential Functions:Age-Appropriate Competency: The employee is able to demonstrate general competency in providingAge-Appropriate Care as indicated by the ability to plan, provide and evaluate care based on the physiological, psychosocial, intellectual and safety developmental needs of the patient.Utilizes appropriate processes and documents in accordance with The Joint Commission and other regulatory standards for each patient admitted, transferred or discharged for the invasive procedural area.Demonstrates ability to provide comprehensive care to patients.Demonstrates the ability to function in all roles of the electrophysiology laboratory (scrub, monitor, and circulate).Function as a qualified team member (QTM) in the administration of moderate sedation under the direct supervision of the physician where applicable.This document is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, or working conditions associated with the job.
