Second Shift Material Handler
Nesco Resource is looking for second shift material handlers in Danbury, CT. This position is temp to hire for the right candidate. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. Pay is $21/hour.
Job Description
The material handler will be in charge of moving materials with a forklift, creating labels for shipping/receiving, removing cardboard, assembling and reassembling racks, tracking inventory for the buyer and planner and packing actuators as needed. Position is in the warehouse/logistics team and will report directly to the warehouse manager.
Job Responsibilities
- Moving material in and out of palette racks with forklift.
- Moving required materials with forklift to assembly team.
- Creating labels for sub assembly using Microsoft Word.
- Removing waste cardboard and lumber to dumpsters.
- Assembling and reassembling pallet racks and shelves.
- Taking inventory counts.
Job Requirements
- Forklift certification.
- Knowledge of scales and weigh counts.
- Must have adequate reading and writing skills to create and read labels.
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
