Associate Estate Planning Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Estate Planning Attorney in Towson, MD. This full-time, on-site role involves working with clients to assess their estate planning needs, recommending tailored solutions, and guiding them through the planning process. The attorney will collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure an exceptional client experience. Duties Meet with prospective clients to recommend estate planning solutions such as Asset Protection Trusts and Wills. Guide clients through the planning process, including document review and execution. Collaborate with paralegals for timely and accurate document drafting. Maintain accurate records and client communications using internal systems. Participate in weekly team meetings and training sessions. Occasionally assist in team-building and professional development events. Requirements Law degree and license to practice in Maryland. Ability to engage new clients in initial consultations. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, OneNote, Teams, etc.). Willingness to undergo a background check and assessment. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Maryland. Skills Strong communication and active listening skills. Ability to explain complex concepts clearly. Organized and tech-savvy. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Office 365, and Adobe Acrobat. Benefits Health Insurance with 50% company contribution.
