CNC Laser Operator(1st Shift)

• $19/hour • Temp-to-Hire

About This Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled CNC Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC laser equipment used in metal fabrication. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to produce high-quality parts efficiently and safely.

Bonus Opportunity

• $350 Attendance Bonus for perfect attendance during the first 30 days

Assignment Details

Pay : $19/hour (depending on experience)

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM- 2:30 PM; Friday 6:00 AM- 12:00 PM

Assignment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Start: ASAP

Pre Employment Requirements

• Drug Screen Required
• Background Check Required
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Client Interview Required
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser machines for metal fabrication
• Retrieve and run machine programs accurately
• Select and maintain proper gases, nozzles, lenses, and tooling
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor machine repairs
• Produce high-quality, zero-defect parts according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools
• Complete work orders and production documentation accurately
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Operate forklifts and maintain certification as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Work Environment and Dress Code

• Manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels
• Exposure to machinery, moving equipment, and metal fabrication materials
• Adherence to all workplace safety standards and procedures required

• Experience operating CNC laser equipment required
• Ability to use direct-read measuring devices
• Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and concepts
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to complete production paperwork accurately
• Forklift experience or ability to obtain certification
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to read blueprints

Preferred Requirements

• Related manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching
• Constant use of hands and fingers
• Ability to lift:
• Up to 20 lbs constantly
• 21-50 lbs frequently
• 51-100 lbs occasionally

Ability to wear required PPE including:

• Safety glasses
• Hearing protection
• Steel-toed boots

From Client: We base our wage off of experience. Position requires experience. The more experience, higher the wage. Let's say the base starting wage with only a few months experience would be $20. Since we pay 100% of Medical and dental premiums along with a couple other benefits, we consider that as part of their wage. This includes families. When we start them out as temps we start lower and bump them up when we on board them.
