Your role at a glance

We are looking for a Supervisor, Critical Facilities Operations to lead our Data Center Technicians and Facilities Technicians and support the safe, reliable operation of our critical infrastructure.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with strong electrical and mechanical critical facilities experience who can lead a team while maintaining the high standards of safety, reliability, and uptime required in a mission-critical data center environment.

What you’ll be doing

\n
• Supervise and provide day-to-day direction to Data Center Technicians and Facilities Technicians.
\n
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of critical data center infrastructure, including electrical, cooling, mechanical, and life-safety systems.
\n
• Coordinate daily operations, preventive maintenance, and critical and non-critical maintenance activities.
\n
• Ensure work complies with local, state, and federal fire, health, life-safety, and environmental requirements.
\n
• Lead, train, and develop the Critical Facilities Operations team on equipment, preventive maintenance, quality standards, procedures, and processes.
\n
• Manage shift assignments, timekeeping reviews and approvals, and PTO approvals for assigned team members.
\n
• Write and review Method of Procedures (MOPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Standard Method of Procedures (SMPs).
\n
• Supervise the safe and successful execution of critical and non-critical maintenance procedures.
\n
• Analyze equipment performance, operating conditions, and trends to improve safety, reliability, efficiency, equipment life, and cost effectiveness.
\n
• Support customer installations and help ensure customer SLA requirements are met.
\n
• Promote a rigorous, safety-focused, process-driven team environment.
\n

What we’re looking for

You bring a strong background in critical facilities, data center operations, electrical systems, and mechanical systems , along with demonstrated supervisory experience.

You should have strong working knowledge of:

\n
• Electrical and mechanical systems installation, commissioning, operations, and maintenance
\n
• Low-voltage systems, including fire, security, and PLCs
\n
• NEC, NFPA 70E, NFPA 72, NFPA 25, and applicable fire and life-safety codes
\n
• Industrial safety practices, including lockout/tagout, arc-flash protection, OSHA requirements, and applicable state regulations
\n
• Critical monitoring and Building Management Systems
\n
• Data trending, tracking, analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause problem solving
\n

Hands-on experience with critical infrastructure such as:

\n
• 12kV switchgear
\n
• 480/277V and 208/120V electrical generation and distribution systems
\n
• Diesel-powered AC generator plants up to 2MW
\n
• Static UPS systems, static switches, and battery systems
\n
• PLC and relay logic controls
\n
• Power monitoring and data center power distribution systems
\n
• VFD drives
\n
• Large centrifugal chillers and cooling towers
\n
• CRAC units and HVAC equipment
\n
• Chilled and condenser water systems
\n
• Building Management and industrial PLC control systems
\n
• Emergency standby diesel generator systems
\n
• Fuel/oil systems and storage tanks
\n
• Fire protection, sprinkler, and dry standpipe systems
\n
• Pumps, domestic water systems, and backflow prevention devices
\n

What you bring

\n
• Solid experience in data center and/or critical facilities operations
\n
• Experience supervising, developing, and motivating critical facilities operations and maintenance teams
\n
• Strong leadership and communication skills
\n
• Ability to train technical teams on electrical and mechanical systems and procedures
\n
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
\n
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment
\n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
\n

Compensation & benefits

NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location.

Base salary: $108,900–$155,600

Regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
