Administers corporate policies relating to compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, and health and safety programs. Ensures compliance with EEO, ADA and OSHA guidelines.Essential Job FunctionsThe following duties are normal for this position. Other duties may be assignedImplements human talent strategies, programs and policies to assure company objectives in the areas of safety, productivity, quality, customer service, sales, human capital, cost and profitabilitySupports successful deployment of talent acquisition/management, employee engagement, leadership development, communications, compensation, and benefits initiativesProvides guidance to site leaders that fosters a high performance workforce and assures compliance with local, state and federal lawAssists with employee/labor relations process including conducting investigations, administering disciplinary action and preparing grievance responses as neededAssists with disciplinary process and other potential legal mattersSupports effective delivery of HR service to assigned site(s)Collects and analyzes key HR metrics to support site business objectivesEnsures accuracy and completion of employee related data and documentationMaintains industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publicationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree required in Human Resources or related field requiredMinimum of 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience requiredKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge of major responsibilities, accountabilities, and organization of the Human Resources (HR) function or department; ability to use and administer the organization's HR policies, strategies and environmentKnowledge of and ability to use the organization's and industry's standards, procedures and policies relevant to human resources managementKnowledge of federal, state and local laws and ability to advise on laws and regulations affecting HR practicesKnowledge of HR approaches, tools and techniques; ability to inform, guide and advise managers in HR-related initiativesKnowledge of and ability to plan and develop an organization's HR operations in order to increase individual and organizational effectivenessKnowledge of and ability to implement HR related tasks, processes, and projects to ensure smooth daily HR operationsPhysical Requirements & Work EnvironmentPrimarily works in an office environment with occasional time spent in a production and/or warehouse settingSome travel requiredAll Menasha Packaging employees must conduct their work in a manner that complies with all legal standards and meets customer expectationsThe expected salary range for this position is $90,000 to $113,000 annually.
