Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Long Term Care (LTC) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 13.5 (6 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: Minimum 2 years in skilled nursing facility/long-term care or medical-surgical License: Active nursing license in Michigan Certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC) Must-Have: - Previous travel experience - Covid Vaccine required, with medical or religious exemptions accepted on a case-by-case basis Description: Prescribes and adheres to the Villa Way of Kindness in all personal and professional interactions while on duty in and around the facility. Demonstrates exceptional customer service by embodying principles of care and service in all job duties and responsibilities. Under the supervision of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of residents/patients during the shift. Provides nursing care through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care. Adheres to the standards of care for the area and manages the environment to maintain resident/patient safety. Supervises the performance of nursing assistants and helpers in resident/patient care activities. Follows all policies and procedures. Performs duties as defined by the State Nurse Practice Act. Complies with applicable standards.
