In this role you’ll guide customers through the full buying journey, deliver thoughtful design consultations, and build long-term customer relationships. We are looking for someone who has strong interpersonal skills, who is motivated by collaborating and interacting with others, and has a desire to grow their career at Copenhagen through professional development.CompensationOur average sales & design consultant typically can earn between $70k - $110k per year and may choose their payment structure – base salary ($30,000) plus commission or strict commission. Our sales teams can also take advantage of vendor promotions/incentives and spiffs.What You Will DoGuide customers in store and by phone through product selection and the buying processDeliver design consultations using 3D floor-planning tools and create solutions for customer spaces (furniture layout,scale, finishes, and custom orders)Present product knowledge and recommendations to help customers find the best solutions for their home and budgetClose sales and manage follow-up (orders, custom specifications)Use store systems for order processing, quoting, and customer communicationCommunicate proactively with delivery teams, drivers, and sales staff about timing and special requestsMaintain the showroom (staging, merchandising, and cleanliness) to create an inviting customer experienceMeet or exceed sales goals and participate in spiff/promotional programsSkills / RequirementsFull-time availability: weekend coverage is required (schedules provide two consecutive days off per week)Retail and/or Design Experience is preferred; High school diploma or G.E.D.Design consultation or space-planning experience preferred (experience with 3D floor-planning software is a plus)Computer literacy and comfort learning sales/design softwareStrong interpersonal and communication skills — relationship building is keyBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plusMust consent to a pre-employment drug test and background checkBenefitsMedical / dental / vision / life insurance and moreProfit sharing and 401(k)Paid time offEmployee discount programTwo consecutive days off schedule structureCompetitive pay structure with commission options and spiffsIf you’re motivated by sales, love helping customers make their spaces better, and want to grow your design skills, please submit your resume through our career site at #J-18808-Ljbffr Hunter Super Techs - TurnPoint
