Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Experienced Armed Patrol in Lutz, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This role combines customer service, communication, and responsive armed presence, backed by a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and committed to acting with integrity.

- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials, permissions, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols while maintaining a professional presence.
- Support healthcare operations by assisting with access control, escort duties, and incident reporting, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- An armed guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
