Salary:

The painter is responsible of painting components and assemblies related to pneumatic and electronic systems. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and a strong understanding of the specific requirements for painting technical equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure all surfaces are free from contaminants before applying coatings.
• Apply paints, primers, and protective coatings to pneumatic and electronic components using spray guns, brushes, or rollers.
• Ensure consistent application and finish, meeting quality standards for aesthetic and functional purposes.
• Handle and mix paints and coatings according to specifications.
• Maintain proper storage and inventory of paints, solvents, and related materials.
• Operate and maintain painting equipment, including spray booths and compressors.
• Perform regular cleaning and maintenance on tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ensure that the work area is clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols.
• Inspect painted components for quality and consistency, making necessary adjustments.
• Document and report any issues related to painting processes or materials.
• Work closely with other technicians and engineers to meet project deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding project status and any potential challenges.
• Other duties as assigned by management to support departmental goals.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.

Proven experience as a painter, preferably in a mechanical or technical environment.

Familiarity with painting techniques specific to pneumatic and electronic components.

Knowledge of safety regulations related to painting and materials handling.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications accurately.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

• May require working in various environments, including workshops.

This position may require standing for long periods and lifting heavy components.
