Inventory Specialist

Summary
As a maintenance inventory specialist, your daily job requirements will include ordering parts and managing physical inventory for both our facilities and maintenance teams. With the limited floor space available, we will require someone with fantastic organizational skills to manage our spare parts within the cabinets we currently have.

Responsibilities and Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2+ years relative experience.
Interface and communicate with suppliers to ensure performance are aligned with quality, service, and delivery targets, to ensure continuous improvement and optimal business relationships.
Responsible for procurement and stock of inventory. This will include procurement of spare parts for an active repair case.
Manages credit card and expense reporting.
Orchestrate travel arrangements and itinerates including hotel and transportation.
Performs cycle counts and maintains inventory records of spare parts.
Manage tools with calibration requirements.
Manage fork truck certifications.
Performs routine housekeeping tasks to maintain work area.
Desired to have experience with a maintenance management software, particularly maintenance connection (Accruent).
Have an understanding of predictive main

Essential Requirements of the Role

2+ years relative experience.

Mechanically and Electronically inclined

Highly organized with the ability to manage large volumes of parts, tools, and inventory in limited storage space.

Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining accurate inventory records, cycle counts, expense reports, and documentation.

Proactive and self-motivated, able to anticipate inventory needs and prevent stock shortages.

Critical for managing spare parts inventory, maintaining accurate records, optimizing limited storage space, and tracking calibrations and certifications.

Communication

Essential for coordinating with suppliers, maintenance technicians, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely procurement, delivery, and issue resolution.

Attention to Detail

Necessary for cycle counts, inventory accuracy, expense reporting, purchase orders, compliance tracking, and preventing costly stock discrepancies.

Tools or Software

Proficient with Microsoft Office

Desired to have experience with a maintenance management software, particularly maintenance connection (Accruent).
