Hybrid Accounting Specialist (Contractor) – Phoenix, AZ – Post Date: 16 June 2026 – Reference: 1008146 Role Overview Accounting Specialist (Contractor) supporting high-volume AP operations, focused on invoice processing and supplier account maintenance. Role is designed to support transaction accuracy, reconciliation, and research in a fast-paced accounting environment. Core Responsibilities Process high-volume invoices with strong attention to accuracy and coding requirements. Perform supplier statement reconciliations and discrepancy research. Maintain and validate financial data and documentation within ERP systems. Investigate and resolve invoice or payment issues in coordination with internal teams and vendors. Support data entry, reporting, and accounting workflow coordination across systems. Required Experience (Non-Negotiable) High School Diploma/GED Experience with high-volume invoice processing and accounts payable workflows. Strong attention to detail with ability to manage accuracy-critical financial data. Experience with supplier statement reconciliation and issue research. Self-motivated with ability to manage workload in a structured, deadline-driven environment. Preferred / Valuable Background Experience with ERP systems such as PeopleSoft (not timesheets) or Oracle Cloud. Background in full-cycle AP, vendor management, or multi-entity environments (based on resume patterns). Exposure to Excel-based reporting, data validation, and reconciliations.
