Accounting Specialist

Overview

Base pay range: $47,000.00/yr - $57,000.00/yr

This remote accounting role at PBM Group, Inc. offers an opportunity to contribute to clients' financial operations by performing accounting and budgeting tasks in a growing team. The position supports financial integrity and client growth, operating within the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) framework.

Responsibilities

• Financial Management: maintain efficient recordkeeping and accounting systems using modern technology
• Complex Accounting: manage advanced accounting tasks, including prepaid expenses, deferred revenues and class-based financial recording
• Daily Operations: oversee daily financial transactions and maintain comprehensive financial records using spreadsheets and bookkeeping software
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: manage the full A/R and A/P cycle, ensuring invoices are processed and payments collected promptly
• Calculations: calculate and record interest charges and other applicable fees
• Budgeting: prepare budgets and supporting documents in various formats for client review
• Collaboration: coordinate with team members and external parties to ensure clarity and accuracy in financial transactions
• Reporting: compile and present accurate, timely financial reports for management and clients

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: College Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience including full-cycle accounts payable and receivable

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), Dropbox, Google Drive, and Microsoft Teams
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Collaborative mindset and ability to adapt to changing business needs
