divh2Maintenance Instrumentation Journeyman/h2pThe Maintenance Instrumentation Journeyman is responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of existing instrument and automation systems as well as installation, testing and commissioning of new installations and associated equipment. The Maintenance Journeyman may be responsible for supervising and training other craftsmen and working on various jobs without direct supervision. The Maintenance Journeyman promotes safety and quality and will support efforts to increase the reliability of this facility./ph3Education Requirements/h3ulliHigh School Diploma or equivalent required/liliAssociate of Applied Science degree in Instrumentation or related field preferred/liliOklahoma State Journeyman Electrical License preferred/liliJourneyman Instrument Technician or an official apprenticeship qualification/certification from a nationally recognized apprenticeship training program preferred/liliNCCER Instrumentation Certification preferred/li/ulh3Experience Requirements/h3ulli5+ years industrial instrument experience required/lili5+ years experience in a refinery environment preferred/liliA working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word preferred/liliWorking knowledge of electrical one-lines, electrical three-lines, electrical schematics, and electrical prints preferred/liliExperience safely working with the hazards and using the associated proper PPE on voltages up to 600 volts preferred/liliDemonstrated basic understanding of electrical and electronic instrumentation operating principles required/liliExperience with pressure, level, flow, temperature sensing instruments and experience with final element equipment such as control valves, actuators, and positioners required/liliExperience with digital, analog, and pneumatic controls and calibration techniques required/liliWorking knowledge of PIDs, loop drawings, and cascade loops is required/liliDirect experience with SCADA/PLC/Pneumatic controlled loops with the ability to troubleshoot an array of problems associated with the equipment preferred/liliWorking knowledge of Analyzers: Gas Chromatographs, Combustion Analyzers, Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS), and Opacity preferred/liliFamiliarity with Distributed Control Systems: Honeywell preferred/liliFamiliarity with Equipment Monitoring: Vibration monitors, Anti-surge controls preferred/liliFamiliarity with Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers / HMIs, Redlion HMIs, SCADA systems preferred/liliFamiliarity with Ethernet IP, ModBus, RS-485 communications protocols preferred/liliMust be able to provide and receive directions from others/liliAbility to use a computer for data entry, work order processing and other minor tasks preferred/liliFluent in English, oral and written required./liliAbility to adjust schedule to meet business needs./li/ulh3Major Accountabilities/h3ulliPerform all duties in compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental, applicable government regulations, and industry best practices/liliMust be able to work with multiple projects and/or issues from a variety of sources/liliProvide electrical and instrumentation support to maintain equipment and facilities in a manner that is safe, efficient, and environmentally sound/liliParticipating in project planning includes drawing updates, PID development, and Cause Effects development/liliInstall, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical, pneumatic, process controls and new equipment as projects dictate/liliUse hand and power tools to complete assigned work tasks/liliSet up, prepare, and inspect the worksite at start of project and clean up at end of project/liliStudy blueprints or manufacturers manuals to determine the correct installation or operation of equipment/liliRegularly communicate with management work progress, concerns, and questions/liliParticipate in the PM program on all equipment for continuous improvement of all machines/liliKeeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation/liliRecord repairs and maintenance performed/liliExposure to work near potentially volatile and combustible materials and chemicals./li/ulpPlease note that this list is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties/responsibilities, but an overview of the like tasks that this person will be required to be able to execute./ph3Expected Results/h3ulliMust always apply Ethical Principles/liliAbility to troubleshoot and resolve problems/liliAbility to adjust schedules to meet business needs/liliExcellent communication and teamwork skills/liliQuality and timely results in a driven team player/liliCommunicate with all work groups during scheduled downtime of equipment and during plant outages/liliMust follow the Safety Rules and Regulations of the company/liliEmbrace positive change, promote safety, drive inclusive behaviors and support sustainable reliability/liliAdherence to all company policies and procedures/li/ulpstrongApplicants must be eligible to work in the United States.
