Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our team in Concord, California. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience designing, developing, configuring, and implementing ServiceNow solutions across enterprise environments.
The Senior ServiceNow Developer will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, administrators, and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions that improve business processes and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Develop solutions using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, and Workflows/Flow Designer .
- Work with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change, and Knowledge Management .
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST, SOAP, APIs, MID Server , and other integration technologies.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in ServiceNow upgrades, enhancements, testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Follow ServiceNow development best practices and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of overall IT experience with strong ServiceNow development experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture and development best practices .
- Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
- Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and web services .
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and ITSM concepts.
- Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Service Catalog, CMDB, and custom applications .
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification.
- Additional ServiceNow certifications such as CIS-ITSM, CIS-Discovery, CIS-Service Mapping, or CAD .
- Experience with ServiceNow ITOM, Discovery, Service Mapping, or HRSD .
- Experience working in large enterprise environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
