Marketing Specialist

Position Summary

VIP Staffing is seeking an organized, creative, and execution-focused Marketing Specialist to manage the day-to-day execution of company marketing initiatives. Working closely with our CSO and internal leadership, this position will help bring marketing strategies to life through project management, content development, digital marketing, sales and recruiting support, event coordination, and performance reporting. The ideal candidate is a hands-on marketing professional with approximately 3–5 years of experience who can manage multiple priorities, take projects from concept through completion, and work effectively across departments. Staffing industry experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Content Management

• Maintain brand consistency across marketing channels and materials.

• Create and update sales collateral, presentations, one-sheets, case studies, flyers, and promotional materials.

• Develop social media content, email campaigns, newsletters, and other marketing communications.

• Coordinate with outside vendors and marketing partners.

• Maintain organized brand assets, templates, and marketing materials.

Digital Marketing

• Manage routine website content and updates.

• Manage company social media channels and content calendars.

• Coordinate email marketing campaigns.

• Manage SEO and digital advertising initiatives.

• Monitor digital engagement and online reputation.

• Support basic photography, graphics, and short-form video content as needed.

Sales & Recruiting Support

• Partner with sales leadership and Business Development Managers to create client-facing presentations, proposals, capability statements, and targeted marketing materials.

• Develop marketing campaigns that support new business development and client engagement.

• Support branch recruiting through hiring campaigns, job fairs, social recruiting, referral programs, and employer-branding initiatives.

• Develop industry- and prospect-specific marketing materials as needed.

Events & Community Engagement

• Coordinate trade shows, industry events, job fairs, networking events, and client appreciation activities.

• Manage event materials, promotional items, signage, sponsorships, and marketing logistics.

• Support community engagement and industry association activities.

Marketing Operations & Reporting

• Maintain the company marketing calendar and track projects, deliverables, and deadlines.

• Coordinate internal resources and outside vendors to keep projects moving.

• Maintain CRM marketing lists and digital assets.

• Monitor website, social media, email, advertising, and campaign performance.

• Prepare regular marketing performance reports for leadership.

• Use performance data to identify opportunities to improve future campaigns.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3–5 years of professional marketing experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational and project management abilities.

• Ability to independently manage multiple projects and deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

• Comfortable collaborating with executives, sales, recruiting, operations, and outside vendors.

• B2B marketing experience strongly preferred.

• Staffing industry experience is helpful but not required.

Experience with tools such as **Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress or similar CMS platforms, CRM/marketing automation systems, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Business Suite, email marketing platforms, basic video editing, and AI-assisted marketing tools** is preferred.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership, follows through, can turn direction into action, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change.

Growth Opportunity

This position is initially focused on strengthening the day-to-day execution of VIP Staffing's marketing efforts while working alongside our Chief Sales Officer.

As the individual learns our business and demonstrates the ability to manage increasingly complex initiatives, there will be opportunities to take on greater ownership in campaign development, planning, brand management, analytics, and other strategic areas of marketing.

The role is intended to grow with both the individual and the organization.
