Senior Tax Analyst

Senior Tax AnalystThe Senior Tax Analyst will be a critical part of the Accounting team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Property Tax. In this role, you will prepare property tax declarations, process bill backs of property taxes to dealers, agents, and tenants, and perform general ledger reconciliations of associated trial balance accounts. In addition, this individual will review site summaries for changes that impact property tax accounting.Your Role, Your ImpactPrepare and/or review property tax compliance, including declarations.Prepare bill back of property taxes to dealers, agents, and tenants and the reconciliation of associated trial balance accounts.Review site summaries for changes that impact property tax accounting (terminations, purchases, sales, dealer/agent changes, etc.)Assist with integration of property tax accounting for new sites, including acquisitions.Track and process property tax bills for paymentsPrepare consolidated prepaid property tax reconciliations.Assist with property tax audits, including communication with auditors and responding to information requests.Obtain property tax workpapers and property tax assessment values and file appeals as needed.Assist with responses to internal audit requests.Prepare property tax pro-rates for Legal Department for site sales.Collaborate with internal departments as well as municipalities, landlords, agents, etc. to resolve property tax issues.Assist with special projects, such as 1099 data collection and property tax abatements.QualificationsAccounting and G/L experience, knowledge of PDI accounting system and Oracle Cloud preferred3 – 5 years of experience in property tax complianceBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field preferredOneSource Property Tax System is preferredTeam-oriented and collaborativeStrong written communication skillsCustomer - focused mindsetExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesDetail-oriented with a high degree of accuracyAbility to manage priorities and meet deadlinesStrong accounting and math skills along with effective tax research skillsPay Range $89,700.00 - $134,600.00The pay range for this position is outlined above.
